Beginning Quilt Class "October Sky Pattern"
Join us for a fun and easily adaptable quilt class, featuring the "October Sky" pattern from Villa Rosa Designs. We welcome all skill levels and everyone can learn something new but, if you're a little timid about starting a quilt, this is the class for you! We will be covering tips and tricks to making quilting faster and easier!
We will be working on this quilt all day and are excited to see your fabric choices and complete quilt tops! The quilt finishes at 48x60. Items you will need the day of class (we encourage getting everything together BEFORE class so that we can start on time and have the full day to cut, piece and sew)
*October Sky Villa Rosa Pattern
*fabrics needed for quilt top
- 1 36" panel
- 3/4 yard of fabric for Background
- 3/4 yard of fabric for Borders
- 1/4 yard of fabric for Starburst #1
- 1/4 yard of fabric for Starburst #2
- 1/4 yard of fabric for Starburst #3
- 1/2 yard for binding
* Sewing machine and accessories
* 1/4" foot for sewing machine (this is a MUST have, you can get them at WALMART)
* matching thread
* scissors
* pins
* seam ripper
* rotary cutter/ruler (cutting mats are provided)
Bring a lunch and a COVERED drink, we will break 60 minutes for lunch
