Beginning Quilt Class "Panel with Borders"
Join us for a fun and easily adaptable quilt class, featuring a 36" panel and 3 borders, learn how to add borders properly. We welcome all skill levels and everyone can learn something new but, if you're a little timid about starting a quilt, this is the class for you! We will be covering tips and tricks to making quilting faster and easier!
We will be working on this quilt all day and are excited to see your fabric choices and complete quilt tops! The quilt finishes at 53x61. Items you will need the day of class (we encourage getting everything together BEFORE class so that we can start on time and have the full day to cut, piece and sew)
*36" Panel with 3 borders pattern supplied
*fabrics needed for quilt top
- 1 36" panel
- 1/3 yard of fabric for first border
- 2/3 yard of fabric for second border
- 3/4 yard of fabric for third border
- 1/2 yard for binding
* Sewing machine and accessories
* 1/4" foot for sewing machine (this is a MUST have, you can get them at WALMART)
* matching thread
* scissors
* pins
* seam ripper
* rotary cutter/ruler (cutting mats are provided)
Bring a lunch and a COVERED drink, we will break 60 minutes for lunch
